Cat got your mouse?

How about a post at 2:30 at night? :O)
This is another one from the cat I used to live with, he sorta came with the house. :) Sorry to all you mouse lovers out there if it is too graphic... |

I sure hope you made a big fuss of the cat.
When mine catches rats, he has to bring it in the house and do a re-enactment of the battle and the kill. Kind of kitty story-telling.
Sometime, this isn't very hygienic. He has to toss it around and then pounce on it again and again, as if you're an idiot and need to have the glory of his conquest acted out for you again and again, so you'll grasp the enormity of his victory.
Cats are so wierd.

:O) They are great. Hey id rather him kill mice than just let them walk around...
He was a cute guy, and pretty old! But he still had the hunter in his soul, and it came out every now and then.

My cat gets that look in his eye, too. It's the "if you even think about reaching over here I'll gnaw your hand off and won't think twice!" look. My other cat is so prim and proper that on the rare occasion she catches a mouse, she brings it to me, kind of tentatively pokes at it with her paw and looks at me like, "Uh... yeah, so could you do something with it now... blech!" Last time she did that, she was doing that strange, gutteral meowing thing. For weeks after that if I so much as heard a peep from her in the middle of the night... I was wide awake, fearing that bullied, injured mice would be running about touching me. Not very realistic, but hey...

:O) Mice are rather cute... Despite all the fear and hatred people have of-for them.
If you really look at them, they are not that bad.

Mice are cute... no doubt about that. I have held them on many occasions, I just would rather not have one use me as a springboard in the middle of the night. Friend of mine used to have a big rat named 'Bitey' (which she wasn't) and it was then that I began to like rats, too. (Wow, I'm sounding weirder and weirder as the days go by...)

We've had two mice in the house and our cats won't touch em. I think I've brainwashed them so well into not eating the guinea pig that they now think anything moving is off limits.
But WOW, you should see them 'kill' their fake mice!

Yeah I personally like "rats of the night".
The really big, classy rats (aristarats?) who only come out at night. Also known as cat rats, they walk around the city, or subway system, looking for dogs, cats, and small children to eat.
