My trip to Torrence CA |
Sunday, November 27, 2005 |
On the way to Torrence CA to visit the Pelican Products home base there was:
A bird on my gate (great luck btw...) It kept flying over me and I was really afraid (from my years in NYC) of it taking a squirt on my head. Didnt happen, so things got started on a high note.
And Redhat on my TV! :) The tv system for this carrier, Song, is pretty advanced. Offers mp3s that you can playlist up, solid tv, games (multiplayer no less around the jet), and other such. And clearly it runs on linux. Had to be rebooted 3 times, so I think it is not quite perfect yet. |

Scarface |
Monday, November 21, 2005 |
These Scarface posters were made using the entire script of that film. Get That Yayo
Did I die? Why no (and thanks for asking), I have just been away on work related stays in CT. And tomorrow I will go away again for almost a week! Sorry to the dedicated 50 regular viewers, and those 500 others a day who come looking for russian brides (really sorry in that case). I have a hard job (adapting porn for those with hearing problems) but you know there is a certain pride to be found in it. Funny coke video |

Metal Storm |
Sunday, November 13, 2005 |
Metal storm is an AUS company that has created a technology for rapid fire projectile systems which use electronic triggering, not mechanical systems. This gun technology stacks shells in each barrel, and often uses many barrels per gun. As a result, very high rates of fire, and very large volumes of fire can be attained, and maintained.
Here is a prototype robot, with 40mm metal storm barrels.

Falling |
Wednesday, November 02, 2005 |

Well at gamejar.org there are a ton of odd little games. But none of them is as strange at this one. Its called a falling VR game, but really it is a half naked, dead or comatose hooker falling from high altitude and landing on rocks over and over again. I just dont fully understand what it is about. This is more than just some fun physics demo, this is a simulation of throwing an over coked hooker out of your limo off the PCH or out of your trump towers top floor window into the Hudson river. Really very strange. Which is why I love it.
