This is a Frank Kosdon rocket. Two stage, O to M flight. The top speed was over mach 3.5, and altitude over 70,000 feet.
Here is the O-10,000 booster stage in operation, thats over 2,000 lbs of thrust for a few sec.

Here you have the end of the ballistic coast stage, over 50,000 feet the upper stage recovery took place. The tracking smoke and small orange clouds can be seen. While the exact altitude of recovery is not clear, this is probably over 10 miles up. A great flight, but actually pretty low altitude considering the power involved. 150,000 feet could have been done with a higher mass fraction system. But still a great one.
A Dr. K classic.

Worlds deepest pool
Wednesday, September 14, 2005

Long time no smell biatches... :)
This is the deepest pool in the world, with a pit section to about 100 feet depth. It would be a great place to scuba some day, but being in belgium, I might have to wait a while to see it. Still, imagine sitting all the way at the bottom and watching your bubbles go all the way up to the surface (it would take close to 2 minutes for them to get there!) The water visibility is about as good as possible, so clearly able to see 100 feet (I bet it would be 300 feet with the proper illumination.)

Google OS?
Monday, September 05, 2005
It seems that (well according to this strange web page in a different language with asian porn on the bottom) google might have an OS in the works. As the first image shows, it is ready to boot from a USB pen drive. The software looks interesting, if streamlined and simple. If only it were next to be free, and become popular and skinnable and all that, it would be a good thing.

Here is to another 365 and ¼ days.
And here is a naked chick swimming in the ocean.
