The Size of the Earth

This giant blue ball, home to billions of people, is pretty small when compared to other objects in the galaxy. Maybe we should take better care of it.

    Excellent post.

Yeah, we need to take care of number 3. But I'd like to hedge our bets and begin terraforming numbers 2 and 4.

Especially that beautiful Botticelli a bit closer to the furnace.

Looking at the size of the sun compared to the Earth:

People really believe this man-made global warming bullshit and don't think that..."hey...maybe it's the f*cking sun?"

    Lol.

    Recycle your used batteries!

if you don't get burned first...I bet you get splashed by gravity on Antares ;)

    nice post :)

Actually Antares might have similar or less gravity than the sun - Dont forget that density also changes gravity. If the sun were suddenly twice the size, but the same mass, the gravity would be half. Antares and other red giants might be quite massive, but also quite spread out. I dont know though.
