 Many consider this the hardest climb in the world. It may not be, but is certainly in the top 10 hardest. It almost looks better from below, however, which is the only way I expect to see it in this life. |

@ woozie: that's because on some mountains we got natural camouflage. As long as they're high enough.
@ post: get on a airplane and fly over it. That's how you can see it from above ;)

Everest is very different - it is expensive, takes a very long time for most to climb, and is quite dangerous. But other climbs are much more dangerous, K2 for example is far more deadly and difficult... Cerro Torre seen here may only take two or three days to climb, and you dont need any oxygen to do it... But it is just very hard. Technically most people cant do it. Most healthy, young people could train to climb everest in two or three years. K2 in 4, etc...
