"Considering the fact that Barack Obama is our nation's first African-American President, security measures being developed to protect him and his family appear to of course be beyond the norm. This includes his new car.
Instead of utilizing President Bush's old car, the new first car (code named "Cadillac One") nicknamed "The Beast", will in fact be a type of armoured fortress or more like a mini-tank.
Unlike the very unfortunate late President John F. Kennedy whose life was cut too short by a crazed Assassin, NO idiots or Terrorists wishing to take Obama out will get their wish on his watch.
"The Beast" which is actually a Limo, will be able to withstand anything from bullets to rocket-propelled grenades to bomb attacks from under the vehicle.
President-Elect Obama is expected to make his first appearance in the new car on Inauguration day."

I've heard they'll keep spare Obama-compatible blood in there, just in case it's needed. Awesome and scary at the same time. I just hope some idiot doesn't take it as a challenge.

Yeah he is a big target. But at the same time, I wouldnt mind seeing the secret service crews having to up arm like they did after Reagan got shot. Its badass. Uzis and shit.

Yeah they dont use MP5s on the person because of the image... I dont think anyone wants to see the guns around the president for the most part.
But I bet they have guns in the cars around the president, they probably have that SUV with the gatling gun.

I think I've seen on tv that they've been working on a smaller version of the mp5 with at least as much stopping power, but much smaller for handling inside etc. You might be able to shove these ones inside a jacket. A bit like the guard of the pope.

HK does have a pistol type gun that is still powerful. At close range, hand guns are actually more attractive. Say within 30 feet in a crowd or building. Provided they are good with the gun, which I assume they are.
