First of all, where were they all running? The safest place would be in the middle of nowhere, or close to the water where they were already. Running towards buildings makes no sense. Next, you have to be really dumb not to recognize air force one. Also, why would the terrorists loop around the city, with impressive flying ability, and not actually crash? Why would the fighter not shoot it down over the water or New Jersey? Yes the photo op was dumb, but hey so were the people who flipped out over it.
