Obviously, or hopefully, these are satirical prints about large hairstyles from the 1700s. Note the punchlines - they were pretty short and to the point back then. If Chris Rock were doing jokes in the 1770s, other than being a slave, he would have had to make his jokes fit in, and end each with an rather boring full stop:
"Have a Cookie." "My mother has coupons for coupons." "Bullet control."
